The District's Mini-Grant program is now accepting applications which will assist farms by providing implementation funds for agricultural best management practices (BMPs) that will reduce sediment, erosion, and non-point source pollution from entering the waters of Schoharie County.
In order to be eligible for this program, the farm must be defined as one by NYS Agriculture and Markets Law and file a schedule-F for an agricultural product with the IRS. The farm must also be enrolled in the Agricultural Environmental Management (AEM) program through our office.
There are numerous eligible practices that a farm can apply for. If you would like more information and an application, please call the office for assistance. (518)823-4535
