Freedom is a delicious, multipurpose apple for eating, baking or sweet cider blends. It has great disease resistance, second only to the Liberty apple. Ripens midseason. Stores until January in the fridge.  At maturity, this tree will be 15 foot tall. Plant 15 feet away from other trees. Temporary stake needed for first 3 years of support. Best planted in deep, fertile soils. Avoid hard-pan.
